Hello and happy Monday to my carb lovers! We’ve got a brand new recipe for you all today (shared on Insta just yesterday). This one was heavily requested in the DMs, and it is so simple that there’s no excuse not to try it out. You will have no truffle whipping this one up ;)
What will I need?
2 cups of pasta (we used farfalle, but feel free to switch it up!)
4 slices of bacon (optional, of course)
3 cloves of garlic, minced
3 tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
1 cup of light cream
1 tablespoon of truffle oil (we used TruffleHunter White Truffle Oil)
Salt & pepper
What do I do?
1) Cook pasta according to box instructions. Drain and set aside.
2) Cook the bacon in a pan over medium heat, until crispy.
3) Remove the cooked bacon from the pan, and drain HALF of the bacon grease.
4) Add the butter to the pan with the leftover bacon grease. While the butter is melting, chop the bacon into small pieces and set aside.
5) Once butter has fully melted, add the minced garlic.
6) Next, add the light cream and stir until everything is combined. Then, add in your pasta!
7) Finally, add the parmesan cheese and truffle oil, and mix it allll up!!!
8) Season with salt & pepper, and serve :)
How many people will this serve?
2! But you can easily adjust ingredient amounts, depending on the number of people you plan to make this for.
