Hellloooo foodies and happy Tuesday!!! We apologize for taking the last couple of weeks off from these newsletter sends, but we are back and ready to roll! This week we’re featuring our PESTO pasta sauce recipe! We promise that once you start making your own pesto at home, you may never go back.
What will I need?
2 cups of pasta (any kind you want)
1/4 cup of light cream
1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
1/2 cup of olive oil
2 small cloves of garlic (OR 1 big clove)
2 tablespoons of pine nuts
2 cups of basil (washed, with stems removed)
*Kitchen Item - Food Processor*
What do I do?
1) First, cook your pasta according to box instructions.
2) Next you’ll add the basil, pine nuts, and garlic cloves to the food processor, and combine until all of the ingredients are finely chopped.
3) Keeping everything in the processor, add the olive oil and continue to process until it’s combined.
4) Once the olive oil is combined, add in the light cream and the parmesan cheese. Again, process until combined!
5) Pour the pesto onto a sauce pan over medium heat. Add some salt & pepper and stir.
6) Finally, add your cooked pasta to the pan, and mix it allll up until it’s fully covered in the pesto sauce!
7) Serve and ENJOY!!!!!
Oh yeah, and we recommend always tossing a burrata ball on top as well :)
