One of our most popular recipes that we share on Instagram is our vodka sauce. Most commonly consumed with penne (penna alla vodka, ever heard of it?), it pairs well with many different types of pasta. Here we shall provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to make this delicious, creamy pasta sauce right from the comfort of your own kitchen.

What items do I need?
Pasta - 2 cups
Heavy Cream - 1/2 cup
Tomato Paste - 2 tablespoons
Vodka - 1.5 shots
Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
Garlic - 2 cloves
Parmesan Cheese - 3/4 cup
Salt & Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon of each
Got it all. Now what?
You’ve completed the most difficult part, which is getting all of the ingredients together. Now we get down to business.
1) Cook the pasta of your choosing according to box instructions.
2) Mince the cloves of garlic.
3) Add the olive oil to a pan on medium heat.
4) Add the minced garlic to the pan, and cook until it is nice and fragrant.
5) Add half of the tomato paste to the pan, mix it with the garlic.
6) Add the vodka and stir.
7) Add the remaining half of tomato paste to the pan and stir until everything is combined.
8) Add the heavy cream and stir.
9) Add the cheese (finally!) and continue to stir. Add salt & pepper now if you’d like, or save that for last. Up to you. Then let it simmer.
10) Add your cooked pasta directly to the sauce and MIX IT ALLL UP!
