My favorite Alfredo sauce with anelli pasta :)
Ingredients:
1/2 lb anelli pasta
4 tbsp butter
Olive oil
3 cloves minced garlic
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
Salt, pepper, garlic/ onion powder
Parsley
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella
Recipe:
First, cook your pasta (I did anelli pasta) in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
Add the butter and a dash of olive oil to a pan on medium- low heat. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic.
Cook this for a minute or so until fragrant then add in the heavy cream. bring this to a simmer then turn down the heat and add in your seasonings.
Toss in your cooked pasta with a little pasta water and let it cook together until the sauce thickens.
Add in your cheeses and mix well. Taste, and add more seasonings as needed. Top with more parsley and parmesan. Enjoy :)
